Experience Bentley

At Bentley School, we take great pride in our warm, welcoming community.

Whether you’re interested in Kindergarten, sixth grade, or ninth grade, we are excited to offer prospective families multiple opportunities to come to campus and get to know the Bentley program and community better.

Registration for our guided parent/guardian tours, student visits, playdates, and Open Houses opens every September through our online application portal, Ravenna. Please note that we cannot accept drop-in visits at either of our campuses; please contact the Admissions Office for assistance.

  • Virtual Events

    Virtual Events for Prospective Families

    The Bentley Experience webinar series provides prospective families with an overview of specific programs offered at Bentley School. Join us virtually and hear from our talented faculty and administrators.

    Prospective families are also invited to attend an Open House and hear directly from teachers, administrators, and students about the Bentley experience. Each session includes an opportunity to participate in exciting classroom demonstrations by our talented faculty. We encourage parents/guardians and their students to attend. Bentley is excited to host one virtual Open House for families to experience Bentley virtually, and families are welcome to attend an in-person and virtual Open House.

    We encourage families to register through Ravenna for all events. Families may also register for our virtual events through the links below.

  • Open Houses

    Each fall, Bentley School hosts community-wide events for prospective families. Families can register to attend an Open House and hear directly from teachers, administrators, and students about the Bentley experience. Each session includes the opportunity to participate in exciting classroom demonstrations put on by our talented faculty. We encourage parents/guardians and their students to attend.

  • Parent/Guardian Tours

    Complementing our Open House event, our Parent/Guardian Tours invite adult caregivers to campus during a typical school day and provide a feel for the community and see our program in action. You'll also have an opportunity to speak directly with a member of our Admissions and Administrative team. Tours are offered by division; we offer K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 tours. All K-8 tours are hosted on our Hiller campus, and our 9-12 tours are given at our Lafayette campus.
     
    By logging into your Ravenna Hub, we invite you to see which tours are available. Registration for an available tour will be displayed after you add Bentley School to your Ravenna Dashboard.

  • Student Visit

    A Student Visit (often colloquially referred to as a shadow visit) is a wonderful opportunity for prospective students to experience a “day in the life” of a Bentley student.

    In-person visits for grades 6-12: Students are greeted by their ambassador, a current student, who will be their campus guide for the visit. While not required, we invite your middle or upper school student sign up so they can see for themselves all that Bentley has to offer.

    Student Visit options will only be displayed in Ravenna Hub after a family completes Part 1: Preliminary Application and pays the application fee.

  • Kindergarten Playdate

    Even prospective Kindergarten applicants are excited to experience what Bentley offers them. The Admissions Office is excited to host one to two optional playdates for prospective applicants applying during the application season (December-January). 

    Information about Kindergarten Playdates is provided in Ravenna Hub once the dates are finalized. Participation in a playdate is optional. While their student is meeting with our teachers, parents/guardians will have the opportunity to speak with other lower school administrators.
