Sometimes there is no replacement for a face-to-face meeting, but, luckily, an online interview can be a close approximation of the in-person thing. Interviews allow students to present themselves and their credentials in a one-on-one environment and provide students an opportunity to ask personalized questions. For selective colleges, interviews allow an applicant to present a more personal version of themselves and their goals than can be readily apparent on a student’s application. We’ll share our advice on how to approach a virtual college interview and leave plenty of time for your questions.
