Playoff Updates & Basketball Beginnings
Our women's varsity volleyball team lost a tough North Coast Section Quarterfinal game against Urban School this past Saturday. Despite their exit from section playoffs, they will continue to the NorCal Regional playoffs, which begin next Tuesday. Our cross country team competes in the BCL-East Championship meet this afternoon; looking ahead, a select number of runners will move on to compete in the North Coast Section Meet of Champions on November 23 at Hayward High School.
Our Middle School girl's basketball program is bigger than ever, with two robust teams of eager 6th, 7th, and 8th graders we are poised to have an exciting season. Middle School boy's basketball will begin in mid-January. Tryout dates are tentatively set for Friday, January 10 and Monday, January 13. Mark your calendars and stay tuned for more information about the upcoming season.
Our Upper School basketball teams started practice this past Monday. Each team will kick off their season with scrimmages next week before things quiet down for finals week. With the exception of students competing in playoffs, all Upper School student-athletes will have finals week off. Athletic action will pick back up after Thanksgiving Break.
