Life on Campus

Bentley Student Culture
Bentley students are fearless learners and inspired individuals. All divisions encourage respectful and kind treatment of others, emphasizing inclusion in activities and friendship. Our students take pride in old and new school traditions, and enjoy opportunities to show their Phoenix spirit together, whether it’s in weekly Town Meetings, drama productions, or athletic events.

Life on the Hiller Campus
Located on six acres in the beautiful Oakland Hills, Bentley offers a "home away from home" feeling while promoting excellence in teaching and learning for the youngest members of our community. Teachers encourage students to celebrate their successes, take risks, and learn from their mistakes. The many forms of diversity our families represent, including diversity of thought, create new traditions in a culture of shared values including respect, excellence, and care.
Life at the Upper School Lafayette Campus
The nine-acre Lafayette campus showcases a state-of-the-art playing field and an expansive academic quad bordered by the Athletic Center and Student Commons. Upper School students engage in numerous academic, artistic, and athletic endeavors, whether in the classroom, on the field, in the science labs, on stage, or in the Maker Space. Each student studies in academically challenging courses and participates in the well being of the community through our numerous student club and service-learning opportunities. Advising and College Counseling guide students to develop an academic and co-curricular road map to prepare them for colleges and universities of their choice locally, nationally, and internationally.
