Our two dynamic campuses offer stimulating and age-appropriate environments, both unified in The Promise of Bentley - to pursue academic excellence from Kindergarten to the threshold of college, and to ultimately make learning a lifetime pursuit.
Our Hiller Campus in Oakland Kindergarten - Grade 8
Nestled in the hills of Oakland, our picturesque K-8 campus buzzes with energy--singing and laughter coming from the outdoor garden and playgrounds, group performances in the Meadows Auditorium, and lively student conversations emanating from our open-air Maker Space. Because our Kindergarten, Lower, and Middle School learners share a campus all their own, they experience the benefits of growing up within an inclusive community on a lush, intimate campus appropriately scaled and designed for children. Upon the completion of 8th grade, our students are ready to transition to our Upper School campus and look forward to the new opportunities that advancement brings.
Just seven miles north in Lafayette, lies our 12-acre Upper School campus. At the foot of rolling hills and situated around an open-air quad, students in grades 9-12 enjoy a more college-like experience with ample space to gather for clubs and activities, find a quiet place to study, or play a game of Ultimate on the athletic field during lunch. The Bentley Commons, bathed in the light of floor to ceiling glass windows, is the central hub of community interaction where students eat lunch, collaborate on assignments, meet with teachers, or catch up with friends. Our flexible schedule allows students to own their daily routine and our seniors go off to college well versed on how to exist and thrive as independent learners who are responsible for themselves.
