Eighth-Grade Science Fair

Today at the Lafayette Campus, our entire eighth-grade class presented their science fair projects. The Eighth-Grade Science Fair is an excellent opportunity for our Middle Schoolers to exhibit their scientific knowledge to some of their future community members. The students got very creative with their projects as they covered a variety of topics, including but not limited to, making more eco-friendly food packaging, the effect the color of light has on a plant’s growth, how fertilizer affects wheatgrass growth, and how temperature affects chemical reaction rates in a bottle of Coca-Cola. Our students did a masterful job explaining their process while showing their scientific methods on posters.
