Bentley seniors Jared B. and Jake T. recently brought their photography to new heights. Jared, a licensed pilot and Advanced Photography student, collaborated with Jacob, an AP Photography student, to help him produce a series of digital images highlighting the varied terrain of the nearby San Joaquin delta. Jacob’s images of windmills and oil refineries are paired with shots of migratory birds, offering a glimpse of the diversity and vastness of the region.
Using black and white film in a plastic camera called a Holga, Jared made his own images depicting the bridges and wetlands below from the cockpit of his Cessna 172. Prints of both Jared and Jacob’s work are currently on display at the Lafayette Campus.
