A PACT Opera!
Members of the San Francisco Opera Guild joined Bentley's 4th grade class, performing a modified version of The Elixir of Love by Gaetano Donizetti.
All fourth graders participated as either singers, actors, or understudies. The performance took place on the Meadows stage for all students K-5 and was recorded to be shared with the broader Bentley School community. This has been an exciting opportunity for students to learn about the genre of Opera, and memorize stage directions, speaking roles, and songs. Through Opera, students have learned how to work together on stage, and understand other eras and new forms of artistic expression.
