Choral and Chamber Concert Joy
Last Tuesday evening, students in the Middle School Chorus, Middle School Orchestra, Upper School Chorus, Upper School Concert Choir, and Upper School Chamber Music classes performed live in Lafayette.
It was a wonderful collaboration between Mr. Pannell and Mr. McWilliams. This was the third performance of music from the MS Chorus and MS Orchestra, and it was far and away the best. It is so impressive to see students who did not start playing any instrument until middle school playing at this level. Uchenna N. (8th) even played and conducted the group for one of the numbers. Bravo! Seeing Mr. Clark Brown and Ms. Espenelli playing along with the Chamber Ensemble was also a lot of fun. The combined choruses finished out the night with a fun rendition of the theme song for the movie “Elf.” Many thanks to all who came out to support these programs.
