A World Languages Celebration

8th graders had a lot of fun at the "World Language Celebration" on Tuesday. This event recognized the tremendous progress students have made in their language skills. They enjoyed crêpes made by French students, sang songs led by Spanish students as they hit piñatas filled with Mexican candies, and savored carefully selected Chinese food planned by Mandarin students. They also hung out on the lawn under the sunny noon sky. A fantastic time was had by all!
