Martin Luther King, Jr. Dream Symposium a Resounding Success
This year’s MLK Dream Symposium was the most well-attended in Bentley history. Over 100 students and faculty members gathered to hear Vince Greer, Associate Dean of Students for Diversity, Inclusion & Residential Life at Claremont McKenna College, talk about his own experiences in college and in the DEI field.
Attendees were also treated to a fantastic student and faculty panel in the morning, and in the afternoon, students and faculty offered twelve different workshop sessions on a variety of topics, including:

- Food Deserts, Urban Gardening, and Mutual Aid
- How to be a Good Ally
- Whitewashing Ancient History
- Neurodiversity in the Classroom
- Council: A Way of Being in Community
- "Dreamers": A Conversation About Dreamers and The Dream Act
- Fish Out of Water: Finding a Sense of Belonging When You Don't Fit In
- How Can We Approach Media Critically?
- What Loot? : Thinking Deeply About BLM Protest Coverage in Mainstream Media
- Yoga for Self-Care & Community
The Symposium was an energizing, galvanizing experience for students and faculty alike.
