Movie Night in the Spider-Verse
Student Life hosted a successful outdoor fall movie night this past Friday, drawing a large crowd of excited students and faculty.
Attendees cozied up on blankets and lawn chairs as they enjoyed the animated blockbuster "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" on a large outdoor screen. We were excited to watch this film together, which some viewers noted as the first iteration of the classic comic series to overtly explore identity, gender, and class constructs. That’s a lot to chew on in addition to the movie snacks shared by all!
Laughter, cheers, and the aroma of popcorn filled the air, creating a memorable cinematic experience that brought the school community together in the spirit of a great fall evening.
