Middle School Students Dove Right into Mini-term This Week!

The excitement from Middle School students on and off the Hiller campus was palpable during Mini-term this week!

Some of our lucky students had the opportunity to experience sailing with the Marine Science Institute. Some also learned about the cuisines and cultures of countries around the world. Some chose to watch films and do a deep dive into famous musicals, while others decided to try something more physical, like learning the practice of martial arts or hiking in the Bay Area. Some students were able to engage their creativity as they practiced the art of needlework, cooking, and writing, while others learned all about the strategy needed in chess, card games, and board games. Meanwhile, many of our 8th graders were across the country enjoying their trip to Washington DC.

Students learned new skills, explored new interests, and had a blast while they did it! Stay tuned for more in-depth updates next week, but in the meantime, CLICK HERE to take a look at some photos from the entire K-8 Mini-term week!
